About Our Team
The DevOps team at Multiplier excels in delivering a wide array of services that include automation, observability, designing cloud/server/network architectures, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), managing infrastructure as code, database administration, incident management, integration management of third-party vendors, ensuring security and compliance, along with the acquisition of new technological skills. Our efforts are geared towards enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing errors, and guaranteeing swift, secure, and dependable application deployments. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance, monitoring applications and infrastructure rigorously, creating robust infrastructure frameworks, swiftly identifying and resolving issues with Cloud services, managing vendor relationships effectively, and upholding cloud security and compliance rigorously. Our team is dedicated to continuous learning and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to augment the value we deliver to the organization.
What will I be doing?
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and a penchant for experimentation, collaborating closely with teams to refine our tools and methodologies through innovative solutions and technologies.
- Advocate and implement the “Automate Everything” philosophy within our team.
- Take a leading role in the development and upkeep of our cloud infrastructure across all pre-production and production environments, ensuring optimal hosting of all cloud applications.
- Lead and engage in design reviews to ensure engineering designs are in strict alignment with the diverse requirements of cloud platforms.
- Work collaboratively across product and platform teams to enhance the reliability of our cloud services, guaranteeing 24/7 access to critical applications for our customers.
- Skillfully manage and resolve server and platform-related issues.
- Conduct comprehensive performance analyses and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and shared resources.
- Ensure the infrastructure services are available within the agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead the cloud infrastructure team, focusing on recruitment, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
What do I need?
- 8 plus years of experience in utilizing DevOps tools within the AWS cloud environment.
- Extensive experience with cloud automation technologies such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Expertise in application containerization and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Experience managing Content Delivery Networks (CDN), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and bot detection mechanisms.
- Hands-on scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash for automation and operational tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting tools like NewRelic, Prometheus, CloudWatch, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) log management solutions for efficient data handling.
- Significant experience with infrastructure and platform sizing, focusing on cost-reduction strategies.
- Proficiency in developing Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for high application availability.
- Skilled in applying agile methodologies, and leading agile teams, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adept in Linux web server administration, designing complex cloud networks, and knowledgeable in compliance and security standards.
