The Role

As a Litigation Lawyer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of litigation cases from Members (Client Employees) and Clients. The primary objective of this role will be to religiously coordinate with the local counsels, strategise and mitigate legal risks, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and ensure safeguarding the company's interests in legal proceedings/outside court settlements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and Strategy with Local Lawyers on Ongoing Cases with Clients and Members
  • Drafting and Reviewing Demand Notices and recovery Notices to the Client:
  • Drafting Replies to Legal Notices Received by the Company:
  • Coordination of Mutual and Amicable Resolutions for Litigation-Received from Employees.
  • Liaise with debt collection agencies as necessary to recover outstanding debts or settlements resulting from litigation cases.
  • Manage and Maintain Legal Updates Tracker and Keep it Handy for Review for Management
  • Working in collaboration with external law firms and helping coordinate and provide them with all the documents and data requested by them from the internal teams for the pre-arbitration and arbitration process procedures and Demand notices.
  • Maintaining and managing all notices received from the court, client and Members, including their replies, with sensitivity and act on them in a timely manner.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as a Litigation Lawyer
  • Employment law background and experience
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc
  • Highly organised with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong along with attention to detail
